Coach/Owner Neal Maddox


Neal Maddox, owner and head trainer at CrossFit X-treme Athletics, is a five time CrossFit Games Athlete. CrossFit has be been his passion since being introduced in 2009. He has an extensive background in the health and fitness industry beginning from his early days playing football. He has traveled throughout the United States coaching for CrossFit Headquarters and competing in CrossFit competitions.

His expertise is extensive in the areas of physical fitness and training, diet, sports specific training, rehabilitation, weight loss, and motivation. With over 15 years of experience, Neal’s passion to help change people’s lives is incorporated in everything he does. Neal loves to lift heavy weights, workout everyday, and surrounds himself with positive people who also like to push themselves regardless of fitness level. Neal’s words to live by, "Don't limit your challenges, challenge your limits".

Raymond Espinoza


Raymond found CrossFit in 2009 when he was introduced to Neal Maddox of CrossFit X-treme Athletics. After learning and training with Neal, he immediately knew CrossFit and training was his true passion. He was already in school planning to get a degree in Kinesiology and knew he wanted to be a trainer. Because of his passion and determination, Raymond became a level 1 coach quickly in 2010 and competed at the Norcal Regionals in 2011 and 2012.

Raymond loves to affect people's lives in a positive way and help them become the best versions of themselves. Raymond spent 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and is currently a student at San Jose State University, where he is finishing up his Bachelors of Science in Kinesoiology. His favorite aspect of CrossFit is Olympic lifting. He has a bronze level Olympic lifting certification and loves to teach the snatch and clean and jerk. His favorite cheat meal is a burrito.

Tracy Creal


Tracy Creal has extensive experience with personal training and is CrossFit Level 1, USA Olympic Weight Lifting, NASM, TRX, and Mobility certified, as well as holds a BA in Communications from Michigan State University. Tracy’s passion for fitness started in grade school being an athlete and coach through high school playing sports including basketball, softball, cross country and track. After pursuing a career in advertising sales and real estate she decided to pursue her true passion and became a personal trainer. Soon afterwards, she was introduced to CrossFit and was hooked. She has always enjoyed being active and wanted to do something with her life that would help improve other's lives. She is inspired by seeing clients do things they never thought they were capable of.
